Jeré Cooper

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Jeré Cooper is a board certified Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a great passion for holistic and patient centered care. Jeré began her journey into the health care field working for Atlanta’s number one center for Trauma; Grady health system, where she spent a total of six years working as a registered nurse.

 

Over the years, Jeré has had the opportunity to treat patients in a wide variety of settings such as Adult ICU, Neonatal and Pediatric ICU, ICU stepdown, outpatient surgery, and case management. Through her years of experience at the bedside, she became more aware of the great need for mental health. This led her to pursue a Master’s degree as a mental health provider.

 

Jeré is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse practitioner with a passion for treating patients 18+; dealing with disorders such as PTSD, post partum mental health disorders, and anxiety. She places great emphasis on educating her patients and providing them with necessary resources to aid in their care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

About Us

At Elevated Mental Health & Wellness Center, we provide care that aims at identifying the root cause of the patients mental concern, and is based upon the patients individual needs.

We implement care based on the 3-legged stool model:

 

  • Implementation of psychotherapy

  • Appropriate lifestyle changes

  • Identifying/addressing any deficiencies in the brain/ body which may be causing the patient's mental health concerns.
